Hamilton Park has The X Factor

Trio are the latest addition to Lanarkshire Racecourse's glittering grogramme for 2010

Hamilton Park Racecourse has again proved it has The X Factor by attracting Olly Murs, Stacey Soloman and Danyl Johnson, finalists in the 2009 series of the hit ITV show, to perform live at its Family Night this July.

The three soloists will travel north together and sing live on stage in a unique performance on Saturday July 10, in association with leading concert producers Liz Hobbs Group Ltd.  The news follows hot on the heels of the recent announcement that chart toppers JLS will also perform at Hamilton Park, headlining a standalone gig on Friday July 23.  Now, in the same month, Olly, Stacey and Danyl look on course to repeat last year's record attendance at Hamilton Park when a crowd of more that 10,000 were wowed by JLS, Diana Vickers and Ruth Lorenzo.

Ashley Moon, Commercial Manager, said 'We're very excited, so soon after confirming our JLS concert, that another three stars from The X Factor will be performing at Hamilton Park this summer.  It's amazing to think that only two months ago nearly 20 million Brits were watching these three brilliant and talanted acts live on Saturday night TV and now we're set to welcome them to Hamilton Park.  Our Stars from The X Factor night worked so well in 2009 that all parties involved were keen to do it again and if last year is anything to go by we anticipate another sell-out and evening to remember.  This year's amazing Family Night line-up is another feather in the cap for Hamilton Park and reemphasises that we are more than just a racecourse - while at £13 a ticket it represents real value for money in the current climate.  With more acts to be announced for some of our other fixtures this coming season, Hamilton Park is the place to be this summer if you want to see and hear the stars.'

Olly, who famously sang with Robbie Williams during The X Factor 2009 finals, will be joined on stage by Stacey and Danyl on the evening of Saturday July 10, the climax of Hamilton Park's Family Night.  The trio join a long list of famous names to have performed at the racecourse in recent years including Pixie Lott, Dannii Minogue, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Jason Donovan.
