Conditions of Entry

1. Entry to the racecourse is subject to the right of the Company to refuse to admit and/or to expel, without prior notice, any person whose behaviour is considered to be unruly or unacceptable or is a disqualified person.

2. We advise racegoers that they cannot take food or drink into any racecourse enclosure.

3. Racegoers must at all times abide by any rules and conditions in operation, including the observance of no drinking areas for safety reasons.

4. There is no formal dress code in operation at Hamilton Park Racecourse, but football colours are discouraged.

5. We regret that dogs are not permitted onto any part of the racecourse, except guide dogs.

6. All badges and tickets, once sold, are non-refundable, except in the event of abandonment.

7. In the event of racing being abandoned, refunds on purchased entry tickets only will be paid in the following circumstances:

  • Abandonment before completion of the first race - full refund;
  • Abandonment before completion of the third race - 50% refund;
  • Abandonment thereafter - no refund.

8. All refunds must be claimed within 28 days of the racemeeting. To obtain a refund, please send purchased tickets to the Hamilton Park Racecourse Office, Bothwell Road, Hamilton ML3 ODW.

9. We shall be entitled to make reasonable changes to these terms and conditions from time to time. We will publish any amendments at least 30 days in advance of the date on which amendments are to take effect. Copies of any amended conditions will be available from the racecourse office or on our website at www.hamilton-park.co.uk



Conditions of Photography

Racegoers are welcome to take photographs for personal use, but no flash photography near the horses - especially around the Parade Ring and Winners' Enclosure and Winning Post.

Under no circumstances may photographs be taken on the racecourse for publication or other commercial use, without prior written permission of Hamilton Park Racecourse.

Grossick Photography are the official photographers of Hamilton Park Racecourse.  To obtain rights to use photography for commercial purposes call 01698 283806.

Racegoers consent to be filmed, photographed and otherwise recorded by Hamilton Park (HPR) or any third party authorized by HPR.  Racegoers grant HPR and any third party authorized by HPR to broadcast, publish, licence and use any photographs, film, recordings or images of you without payment of compensation.

 


Conditions of Sale

 Confirmation of Booking
Your booking may be confirmed either in writing or via email correspondence between you and the Company. 

Payment and Invoicing
Where full payment is not made on booking, a non refundable deposit of 40% shall be invoiced on confirmation of your booking which is payable within 7 days of invoice to secure your booking.  The balance of your booking, if applicable, will be payable 6 weeks prior to the event and will be invoiced accordingly.  If invoices are not paid on the due date your booking may be cancelled by the Company and/or interest may be charged on the outstanding balance at 2% above the published base bank rate of The Royal Bank of Scotland plc.

Confirmation of Numbers
The number in your party shall be confirmed at the time your booking is made.  You may notify the Company, in writing, of any reduction to this, which if made at least 7 working days before the event, will allow a refund to be offered.

Any increases to your numbers may be made by you up until 2 working days of the event.  All charges for any increased numbers made within 6 weeks of the event shall require to be paid at the time of the change by credit card. 

Abandonment Policy
Where the Company abandons or postpones an event as a result of circumstances which were unforeseen, refunds of the entry badge component of all hospitality bookings shall be refunded in full if abandoned up to the due commencement time of the third race, and thereafter at 50%.  All refunds will be administered after the event by post.  Such circumstances shall include without limitation act of God, fire, flood, earthquake, wind, storm or other natural disaster, act of government or state, war and commotion, strike or lock-out, national disaster and national mourning.

Customer's Duty of Care
When you and your party are at the event you shall not damage, nor permit any of your guests to damage or deface the premises in any manner whatsoever nor allow or permit breach of the law.  You shall ensure that nothing shall be done which may constitute a breach of the law or in any way cause a nuisance or be an infringement of any licence for music and dancing or the sale of alcohol.  Failure to comply with this clause shall constitute a breach of these terms and conditions and entitle the Company to require the offending guest(s) to leave the event if it is reasonable for the Company to do so.

You and your guests will not consume any food or drink within the premises of the event except for that supplied by the Company.

HAMILTON
PARK CONCERT NIGHTS - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 Purchase, possession and presentation of Tickets to gain entry to the Event signifies agreement to the following: 

  • No admission to the ground without a valid Ticket. Check your Ticket carefully as mistakes cannot be rectified on the day. No duplicate will be issued if any Ticket is stolen or lost. No re-admission. Retain your Ticket at all times during the event.
  • Under 16's MUST be accompanied by a person over the age of 16, who is responsible for them at all times. The Management reserves the right to refuse entry to any unaccompanied person under the age of 16.
  • The Management reserves the right to reschedule the Event, alter or change the programme, staging or seating without prior notification and without liability whatsoever (including for refund or exchange). No refunds or exchanges unless the Event is cancelled, however any alternative tickets will be of no lesser value than your Ticket. In the event of cancellation the Management's sole liability shall be to offer a ticket to an alternative performance by the relevant artist(s) (if available) or to provide a full refund of the face value of the Ticket to the original purchaser, excluding any booking fee paid.
  • Admission to the ground is at the Ticket holder's own risk and the Management shall have no liability whatsoever for any loss, damage or injury to person or property, except that the Management does not seek to exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by their negligence.
  • Tickets cannot be used for commercial, advertising or promotional purposes (e.g. hospitality, packages, auctions, competitions) without the Management's prior written consent. Any Ticket offered for sale, re-sold or transferred in such a manner WILL become void, and the Ticket holder may be refused admission or ejected without refund.
  • Tickets may not be transferred unless: (a) the transfer is not in consideration of any payment or benefit in excess of the face value of the Ticket; (b) the transfer is not in the course of any business, advertising, promotion or competition or for the purpose of facilitating any third party's business; (c) the transfer is subject to these Conditions and the Racecourse Conditions of Entry, which will apply to the transferee as if they were the original purchaser (and the transferor informs the transferee of this): (d) the Tickets is for the transferee's personal use only; (e) the transferor provides the transferee's name and address when requested; and (f) the transferee is a person who is known to the transferee personally. Any transfer which does not meet all the above criteria will render the Ticket void, and the Ticket holder may be refused admission to or ejected from the ground without refund.
  • The Ticket holder shall comply with all relevant statues, safety announcements, rules and regulations (including, without limitation, the Racecourse Conditions of Entry and the regulations of any licensing authority) while in the ground.
  • The Ticket holder shall not bring into (or use within) the ground any prohibited items, including but not limited to (i) dangerous or hazardous items, weapons, bottles or any article which may be used as a weapon or missile, may compromise public safety and/or may pose a hazard or nuisance to any other person and (ii) any sponsorship, promotional or marketing material, nor may you offer (either free or for sale by any person) any goods (including literature) of any nature. Prohibited items may be confiscated. STRICTLY NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES WILL BE PERMITTED.
  • The Ticket holder shall not bring into (or use within) the ground any equipment which is capable of recording or transmitting (by digital or other means) any audio, visual or audio-visual material or any information or data in relation to the Event or any aspect of it, except for mobile phones and small cameras used for personal and private purposes only. Prohibited items may be confiscated. Unauthorised photography or use of recording equipment is prohibited. The Ticket holder assigns the future copyright in any photographs, films or recordings that you make at the ground in breach of this prohibition to the Management.
  • No alcohol is permitted to be brought into the ground. Smoking in any part of the Grandstand or surrounding buildings is prohibited by law.
  • If you look under 21 please do not be offended if we ask you for proof of age when you buy alcohol. Please bring proof of ID to show that you are over 18.
  • The concert takes place outdoors and is a standing only event. No temporary seating may be brought into the venue and Customers are advised to wear appropriate clothing and footwear and protection against potential inclement weather.
  • Viewing of the event is strictly on a first come first serve basis and Management accept no responsibility for obscured viewing due to other concert goers or the layout of the venue.
  • The Management may search all persons and property at any time or refuse admission to or eject any person who refuses to be searched or who possesses prohibited items. You may be refused entry or ejected for behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance or annoyance or for failure to comply with these Conditions, the Racecourse Conditions of Entry, requests of the Management or for reasons of public safety.
  • The Ticket holder gives unconditional and irrevocable consent to the use, free of charge, of your voice and actual or simulated likeness in connection with the production, transmission, promotion and/or other exploitation of any film or sound recording of the Event (and/or any element of such film or sound recording) in any and all media throughout the world.
  • Tickets and the copyright in the Tickets remains the property of the Management at all times.
  • These conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Scottish law, and the Ticket holder submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

If your Ticket is used in breach of these Conditions, it is void (and in such case, the Management reserve the right to cancel this Ticket and to retain any monies paid for it) and the Ticket holder may be refused admission to or ejected from the ground.
